The Greater Norwich Local Plan (GNLP) is being produced by Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council and South Norfolk Council working together with Norfolk County Council through the Greater Norwich Development Partnership (GNDP).
Just to ensure everybody has the latest information on the GNLP consultation I have produced a summary below.
Individuals and organisations still have until 1700hrs on 22nd March 2018 to submit comments
You can find all the information online here
The key documents in pdf format are here
http://www.gnlp.org.uk/downloads/
Individuals and organisations like Parish Councils can have there say here
http://www.gnlp.org.uk/have-your-say/
There are 66 questions which Individuals and organisations could have there say on
http://www.gnlp.org.uk/assets/Uploads/Reg.18-Growth-Options-document-final050218.pdf
The question that has prompted a lot of debate / comment is Question 9 referring to growth options and where should the houses be built.
The link to the EDP article shows the contrasting opinions of the leaders of Norwich City and South Norfolk Council.
The question is outlined up in pages 27-31 & Appendix Maps 122-135 of http://www.gnlp.org.uk/assets/Uploads/Reg.18-Growth-Options-document-final050218.pdf
Additional Individuals and organisations can comment on site proposals
http://www.gnlp.org.uk/site-proposals/
In Pulham Market there are 4 proposals and Pulham St Mary 7 (3 recently added).
I have extracted the pages from a large pdf and have made them available here
Given I am a district councillor and will contribute to the wider debate on the next local plan over the coming months and years, I will not be submitting any comments (I am in listening mode). I am keen to hear opinions and will review all the comments following the closure of the consultation. Comments will be made available for all to see on the http://www.gnlp.org.uk/ in due course.
Finally the CPRE Norfolk has recently published some further information on it’s position on a number of key points
http://www.cprenorfolk.org.uk/2018/03/3258/
Again Individuals and organisations still have until 1700hrs on 22nd March 2018 to submit comments
Any question feel free to call or email me
