This page provides archive information on my election campaign from 7th May 20226
I am your independent candidate for the upcoming County Council election on Thursday, 7th May 2026, and with your support, I would like to represent the market town of Harleston & the surrounding villages in the Waveney Valley which form the East Depwade Division on Norfolk County Council.
Local people need someone who will stand-up for them on the local council. I would like to represent you and I hope that you will vote for me on Thursday 7th May 2026. For those of you that know of me or who have followed my work as a Councillor, it is well known when I make a promise, I keep it. I am never silenced; I am outspoken to stand up for local issues, openness, and transparency in local government. No party or political influence will silence me.
My election material (leaflet & postcard) will be dropping through letterboxes across the East Depwade Division which includes the market town of Harleston & the parishes of Billingford, Brockdish, Dickleburgh, Needham, The Pulhams, Rushall, Scole, Starston & Thorpe Abbotts in the coming days and weeks. I am seeking to be elected on my track record of being a strong local voice for the past 11yrs. Again feel free to stop me for a chat or reach out and call or email me and I intend to be out with the community speaking to as many residents as possible.

As background there have been boundary changes for the upcoming elections. Below is a map showing the new boundary for the East Depwade Division, the main change is East Depwade now includes my South Norfolk district parishes of Dickleburgh & Rushall.
